2023 Riser Replacement Project Complete!

What a fun journey! My very first project was a success! The task set out the be completed was finished on time and with only a few major inconveniences. I am very proud of the experiences I gained and the people I came into contact with.

Especially those who gave me food! Yum!

So delicious! I enjoyed this treat over vanilla ice cream. I hope that’s not offensive. Very flakey and buttery with citrus-like flavor. It also goes well with a cup of hot tea :)

Deliciously authentic South Indian cuisine made with love and care. This wonderful family treated me like a son and gave the most delicious foods!

Rava Idli - those beautiful biscuits…so delicious and fluffy! Reminded me of my mama’s cream of wheat, but in cake form with capers.

Salna Kuruma - South Indian curry with many, many veggies. Absolutely wonderful to my tastebuds and to my tummy. I could eat this everyday!

Quite often, I would find myself calling on one of the building’s maintenance crew members to help complete smaller tasks surrounding the riser replacement process. They were always more than willing to help.

The contractors I worked with were so friendly and professional I felt spoiled and super lucky on my first go at managing such a large scale construction project. I couldn’t have asked for a more apt and accommodating team of professionals, not to mention pleasant conversations and timely completion of daily tasks. Communication was smooth and any unexpected challenges were met with haste and care.
